JACKSONVILLE, Fla.
Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront hotel welcomes Luis Aloma as general manager, bringing more than 34 years of experience in the hotel industry, all with Hyatt, to Jacksonville.
He most recently served as vice president of corporate operations for Hyatt Place and Hyatt House, overseeing the limited service sector for the brand. Prior to Chicago, Luis served as general manager at Hyatt properties in Miami, New Brunswick, Rochester and Knoxville.
As general manager for the region’s largest convention hotel, Luis oversees all aspects of hotel operations and works in partnership with convention, tourism and development officials to attract more business to the area.

Prior to his roles as general manager, Luis worked his way up within Hyatt in various food and beverage positions at six Hyatt hotels, including Hyatt Regency Chicago, Hyatt Regency O’Hare and Hyatt Regency Aruba.
The 951-room Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront offers more than 116,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space, anchored by a 28,000-square-foot grand ballroom.
