Aretha Kelly

WASHINGTON, D.C.

Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) welcomed Aretha Kelly as director of sales.

In her new position, she is responsible for assisting meeting professionals, association executives, incentive specialists and business executives in the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region who are interested in conducting meetings, conventions and/or incentive programs at any of ALHI’s member hotels and resorts.

“Aretha is a terrific addition to our Mid-Atlantic Global Sales team,” said Mark Sergot, ALHI’s chief sales officer. “She has extensive and diverse experience which will prove to be truly helpful for planners in the Washington, D.C. area who are interested in conducting meetings, conventions and/or incentive programs at any of our member hotels or resorts, or the 23 luxury cruise ships in our portfolio.”

Prior to joining ALHI, Kelly was business development consultant for CaseWorthy, Inc. Her extensive experience includes serving as sourcing sales executive/meetings expert for American Express Meetings and Events; global account executive for ConferenceDirect; citywide sales manager for the D.C. Region for VISIT Denver, The Convention and Visitors Bureau; and area associate director of sales for several Kimpton Hotels in Washington, D.C.

Kelly is an active member of the Potomac Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and the Capitol Chapter of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA). She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel/Restaurant/Tourism Management from University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
