Caesars Entertainment Corporation announced Lisa Gray Messina as vice president of sales. She will be responsible for leading the Caesars Entertainment sales strategy for meetings and events globally. This will include the oversight and coordination of all Meeting and Convention Sales, and all direct and inside sales efforts in the regions and at the properties.
“With Lisa’s veteran experience in hospitality, sales and meetings, coupled with her tenure at reputable and international brands, we are thrilled to welcome her to the Caesars family and bring her talent, expertise and leadership to our Caesars Meetings team,” said Michael Massari, chief sales officer.
Messina has over 20 years of leadership sales experience at international hospitality brands and was most recently executive director, Intermediary Group Sales with Hilton Worldwide in Las Vegas, leading a team of sales directors and managing key intermediary customers to achieve the annual revenue goals.
Prior to Hilton Worldwide, Messina was the chief marketing officer of ConferenceDirect. She was also the associate publisher of MeetingMentor Magazine, a leading trade publication, as well as being director of sales at Hyatt Hotels & Resorts in Washington, D.C., and director of sales at various Wyndham Hotels & Resorts properties in the U.S.
“I’m honored to be part of the legendary Caesars Entertainment brand,” said Messina. “It’s an exciting time especially in Las Vegas with the upcoming development of CAESARS FORUM, which will feature the two largest pillarless ballrooms in the world within the new 550,000-square-foot new conference center that will open in 2020.”
