BARTLETT, N.H.
Warren Mackensen, president of the Attitash Grand Summit Owners Association, announced that New Hampshire hotelier, Steven Mannik has been named general manager of the 143-room Grand Summit Hotel at Attitash.
Mannik will assume day-to-day operations of the condo hotel effective May 1, 2018. He was most recently was the general manager of Eastern Inn & Suites in nearby North Conway and previously, the general manager of the Grand Summit from 2007 to 2012 after earning a promotion from director of sales. He began his hotel career as a sales manager for a Homewood Suites hotel in Kissimmee, Fla.
“Steve is an outstanding independent hotel operator, with more than 15 years of experience in this market,” said Mackensen. “His hotels are spotless; his guest reviews are exceptional, and he understands the nuances of our unique ownership model. During his previous tenure, guests appreciated his warm hospitality and he earned the respect of our associates as well as the 400-plus owners of the hotel. Grand Summit will be in excellent hands under Steve’s leadership.”
The Grand Summit Hotel at Attitash is the only slopeside hotel in Mt. Washington Valley and offers 14,000 square feet of meeting space across 11 function rooms, including the Grand Ballroom that can accommodate nearly 500 guests.
