Timothy Edgecombe has been appointed director of sales at Rosewood Washington, D.C. In this role, he will provide leadership and strategic direction to the hotel’s sales team to achieve and exceed annual revenue goals.
Edgecombe joins Rosewood Washington, D.C. with nearly 30 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry. Most recently, he served as director of travel industry and entertainment sales at Rosewood Washington, D.C.’s sister property, The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel in New York City.
Prior to that role, Edgecombe held the position of sales manager, leisure and corporate business travel at Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver, Canada, where he supported the hotel’s opening in 2011. Before joining Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, he served as corporate sales manager, corporate business travel at the Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort and Spa; director of sales, Western Canada at Exclusive Tours; and business development manager, Western Canada at Uniworld River Cruises.
