ST. AUGUSTINE BEACH, Fla.
The Embassy Suites by Hilton St. Augustine Beach Oceanfront Resort announced the appointment of Liz Hogan as senior sales manager and Jessica Pekarik as catering sales manager.
Scheduled to open early this fall, the 175-room, all-suite hotel is owned by Miami-based real estate investment and development company Key International and managed by Hospitality Ventures Management Group. It will offer 20,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 5,200-square-foot oceanfront ballroom with outdoor terraces, and expansive waterfront lawns for events.
“With these latest appointments, we’ve added exceptional service, deep industry knowledge and great contacts to our already solid foundation,” stated Jason Kern, hotel general manager. “Liz and Jessica bring the type of talent that increases the level of expertise we’re able to offer hotel guests, but also elevates our status within the meetings and events industry.”
Hogan spent the past six years as sales manager at the four-diamond Shores Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach Shores, Fla., where she received the Million Dollar Producer award two consecutive years. Prior to The Shores, Hogan was conference services manager at both the Hammock Beach Resort and Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort for nearly 10 years.
Pekarik spent six years as catering sales manager with the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront in Florida, before joining the Embassy Suites by Hilton St. Augustine Beach Oceanfront Resort.
Situated just 10 minutes from historic downtown St. Augustine and adjacent to the iconic St. Augustine Pier, the Embassy Suites by Hilton St. Augustine Beach Oceanfront Resort will offer 175 two-room suites and several onsite dining venues.
