JACKSONVILLE, Fla.
Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront welcomed two new members to the sales team: Josh Hoce as the associate director of sales, and Laura Gonzalez Pena as the meeting connections/business travel sales manager.
“We’re proud to have Josh and Laura join our Hyatt family, and look forward to incorporating their insights as we continue offering the highest caliber of service,” said Luis Aloma, general manager of Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront. “For years, our hotel has been at the heart of the downtown Jacksonville community, and we are dedicated to building its success. It is exciting to welcome two experienced sales professionals to the team, with strong backgrounds in this market, who can help us continue toward that goal.”
Hoce joined the property with more than 10 years of industry experience in the Jacksonville market. In addition to being a leader on the sales team, he will also manage large groups in specialty markets, such as religious, fraternal and professional sports. During his years of experience, Hoce has served in a multitude of sales roles at local hotels and with Visit Jacksonville. Josh is an advocate for Jacksonville and is excited to bring his passion for the local hotel industry to Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront.
Gonzalez Pena, a graduate of the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality, transferred to Jacksonville from Hyatt Regency Orlando, where she previously served as the business and leisure travel coordinator. Prior to that role, Gonzalez Pena worked in the Jacksonville hotel industry in 2016.
Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront boasts more than 116,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space, anchored by a 28,000-sq-foot Grand Ballroom.
