Meetings Today LIVE! West in Las Vegas wrapped an experiential, in-person program Wednesday, July 21. The event brought together 63 meeting industry professionals—planners and suppliers—facilitating 638 total one-on-one meetings from July 18-21 at host venue The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.
Among the memorable offsite excursions during the show? A private event at the new Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders.
The evening reception was a winning way to cap off a week of renewed relationships and networking between meeting planners and suppliers in the western U.S.
Attendees were welcomed by high-fives from mascot Raider Rusher and escorted onto the field to channel their inner quarterbacks and try their skills at extra-point kicks. Up on the jumbotron, their names shined in lights. It’s one of the impressive on-field activations Allegiant Stadium can employ for private events at the stadium, making attendees feel like football stars for a day.
Additional wows included dinner in the Raiders locker room and a tour of the private event spaces throughout the building, including Coors Light Landing, which held stunning views of the field and the Las Vegas Strip through its floor-to-ceiling glass windows.
The 24,000-square-foot event space—one of 10 available spaces for events within the stadium—can host 2,500 people standing or 500 banquet-style. It’s also home to the 85-foot-tall Al Davis Memorial Torch, which is the largest 3D-printed object in the world.

Allegiant Stadium’s VP of sales and marketing, Samantha Johnson, said the team’s goal is for private events at Allegiant Stadium to be “impactful, experiential and limitless,” whether for a group for 50 or 65,000.
“Allegiant Stadium’s variety of event spaces, experiences and AV capabilities allow us to host a range of events such as galas, meetings, receptions and much more,” Johnson said. “Each event is unique and we work with our clients to find the best space and experience that will accomplish their goals. Our first class organization and team members are experts in scaling the venue to meet the needs of each client and allow the venue to live up to its reputation as the premiere event and entertainment destination.”
