Following its recent completion of a $126.9 million renovation, the Charlotte Convention Center, operated by the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA), named Bryan Miller its new general manager.
Miller will oversee the Charlotte Convention Center team and 600,000 square feet of total leasable space, working in collaboration with Visit Charlotte, the NASCAR Hall of Fame and other key stakeholders.
Miller’s extensive background in the hospitality industry and venue management includes 16 years of experience with the Virginia Beach Convention Center, starting as an event manager with a promotion to sales manager in 2007 and working his way to general manager in 2020, managing events with as many as 35,000 attendees.
“The CRVA prides itself in assembling the most professional talent available and we are very proud to announce Bryan Miller as the newest member of the team,” said Steve Bagwell, vice president of venues at the CRVA. “Bryan’s extensive experience, exceptional customer service, innovative leadership and collaborative nature will be valuable to both our customers and teammates.”
Miller officially takes on his new title January 23, 2023.
