Fairmont Dallas announced the promotion of Christina Mertz from her previous role as assistant director of catering and conference services to director of catering and conference services. Reporting to the director of sales and marketing, Mertz will oversee catering and conference services for the 545-room hotel, home to several major annual conferences in Dallas.
Mertz brings more than 20 years of experience to her new role, including experience from several previous roles in management positions within catering and conference service departments.
Previously, she served as the director of special events at Goldman Properties in Miami, Florida, as well as senior catering and group sales manager at both The Setai and The Raleigh Hotel, as well as director of catering and convention services at W South Beach.
“I am excited to continue my career with Accor and the Fairmont Dallas family,” Mertz said. “I am eager to use my experience and leadership to serve our guests and accommodate their needs.”
