Omni Tucson National Resort recently completed a multimillion-dollar renovation to its rooms, suites, meeting spaces and more. The resort offers more than 25,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space that now boasts natural light, banquet capabilities and new linen-less meeting tables and banquet chairs.
The resort features 13 unique meeting spaces including the 2,870-square-foot Papago Ballroom and the Norville Lawn, the resort’s largest outdoor space measuring 6,000 square feet on the waterfront with views of the lake and golf course water features. The 5,400-square-foot Mesquite Gulch showcases Arizona’s desert charm and offers a built-in barbecue, small stage and Southwestern decor.
Omni Tucson National Resort also offers a variety of group and teambuilding activities like golf and tennis lessons with seasoned teaching professionals, all surrounded by the natural beauty of the resort.
California
The Kinney SLO, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel in San Luis Obispo (SLO), has completed its long-awaited transformation into The Wayfarer San Luis Obispo, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The hotel is the second Wayfarer hotel concept to date and invites guests “driven by self-discovery” and a desire to experience the truth of a destination to refreshed guest rooms and the newly rebranded restaurant and bar, Schoolyard Burgers & Brew.
The Wayfarer SLO offers 100 boutique rooms inspired by the nearby California Polytechnic State University and its campus, tapping into the “nostalgia of college days” through private spaces like the Dean’s suite, Professor’s suite and Campus king and queen rooms and decor such as collage-style photographs on the walls.
Schoolyard Burgers & Brew offers an elevated twist on pub-style classics from burgers to milkshakes and hyper-local beers on tap for guests to enjoy while tuning into the restaurant’s 13 TVs, perfect for gameday watch parties. The hotel offers 2,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space across two venues: The Library, accommodating up to 100 guests, and The Gallery, with a capacity of 60 guests and access to an adjoining private patio.
LUMA Hotel San Francisco, located in the city’s Mission Bay neighborhood, recently debuted Cavaña, a new rooftop lounge on the hotel’s 17th floor. The lounge-style setting is a Latin American cocktail bar with design, art, cocktail and culinary menus celebrating the spirit of South and Central America.
Cavaña can be booked for private gatherings and events. The indoor-outdoor space offers views of San Francisco’s skyline and surrounding bay and is nearby Oracle Park and Chase Center. LUMA Hotel San Francisco offers more than 7,000 square feet of meeting space including the 1,775-square-foot Willet Ballroom and GATHER, the 2,297-square-foot event floor featuring dynamic technology, smart amenities and intuitive services with a capacity just over 250 people.

Hawaii
Royal Hawaiian Center, Waikiki’s premier shopping, dining, entertainment and cultural destination, announced the opening of Ka Lewa Lanai. The word “lewa” is Hawaiian for “sky,” “atmosphere” and “upper heavens,” and the newly expanded public rooftop on the topmost level of.
Building A provides an open-air and atmospheric space for special events and private gatherings of all sizes to gather “under the lewa” and beneath the stars.
Ka Lewa Lanai measures just over 5,000 square feet and overlooks the famed Kalakaua Avenue with the Ko’olau Mountain Range in the distance. The alfresco event space serves as an outdoor oasis with a spacious gathering area bordered by a bridge flanked with vibrant bougainvillea blossoms, coated in faux turf and decorated with accent floor tiling.

Nevada
Marriott International launched a new hotel concept with the opening of Aloft Henderson, offering guests a modern, intricate and innovative experience in the heart of Henderson and just eight miles from the Las Vegas Strip.
The 136-room hotel puts guests in close proximity to sites and attractions like Lake Mead, the District at Green Valley Ranch shopping center and the Dollar Loan Center and is only six miles from Henry Reid International Airport. Hotel guests have access to a fitness center, outdoor pool, lounge area and W XYZ Bar, serving craft cocktails and light bites.
Aloft Henderson offers more than 600 square feet of meeting space, including four meeting rooms equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi and state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.
