Exhibition Group, a global provider of exhibition and event education, insights and commerce, hired David DuBois as the company’s new CEO and president, welcoming the 45-plus-year industry veteran to the position following his previous tenure as CEO and president of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE).
DuBois, a well-respected industry visionary with an impressive track record of leadership, brings to Exhibitor Group a strategic awareness, wide-reaching network and a developed knowledge of the trade show and events sector that the company said “will be crucial to Exhibitor Group’s future growth and success” in a press release announcing DuBois’ appointment.

While leading IAEE, DuBois built partnerships that led to growth and “significant advances” for the association and overall meetings and events industry. In a statement, Dennis Smith, chairman of IAEE, said DuBois’ accomplishments “are testament to his skillful leadership and dedication to the exhibition industry,” and his innovative thinking is sure to make a “significant impact” at Exhibitor Group.

DuBois will officially resume his new role October 1, 2023.
