The vast majority of the biggest 250 conventions meet in just 20 destinations, according to a new report issued by Destinations International and Simpleview, a provider of CRM, CMS, and marketing solutions for destinations worldwide.
The report also detailed which destinations grab the lion’s share of the biggest conventions as well as how specific regions in the U.S. are performing.
Here are some highlights from the newest edition of the report:

82% of the top 250 conventions will meet in just 20 destinations.

Orlando will host the largest number of the top 250 conventions in 2023, followed by Chicago, New Orleans, and San Diego.

The South/Southeast region will host 38% of the top 250 conventions in 2023, followed by the West/Pacific region at 31%.

California will host 17% of the biggest conventions, followed by Texas at 12% and Florida at 8%.
