Originally known as the Batterymarch Building, the Art Deco-inspired structure in the heart of Boston became the city’s first skyscraper in 1928 and today houses Boston’s latest independent hotel, The Dagny, whose name is inspired by the Old Norse words for “new day.”

Before reopening this summer, The Dagny Boston Hotel underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation led by Hirsch Bedner Associates Los Angeles. The project touched on all aspects of the property, which now features 377 newly redesigned guest rooms, 26 reimagined suites and a new 2,000-square-foot fitness center.

The Dagny Boston Hotel also offers 15 meeting rooms and 9,000 square feet of meeting space. The 1,920-square-foot Kellogg Room is the largest and most versatile venue at the hotel with a capacity of 120 banquet-style and 150 standing.
