Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa announced that John Dillis will be appointed as director of event management. In his new role, Dillis will oversee and lead Westin Grand Cayman’s weddings, events and banquets team, ensuring the execution of all event programming at the property. Dillis has already been instrumental in expanding his team and bringing new talent to the property, having added a senior convention services manager as well as two convention service managers to the team.
Dillis brings over 10 years of hospitality experience to the role, having previously served as Westin Grand Cayman’s director of events from 2018-2021 and also working for brands such as Eden Roc Miami Beach and Koncept Events in Florida.
“It’s wonderful to be back at Westin Grand Cayman, and I’m grateful to be working with such a talented and dedicated team,” Dillis said. “Our goal is to help create exceptional memories for our guests and we’re inspired to provide exceptional service that will make our guests want to return year after year.”
