Atlanta CVB Hires Jason Lusk as New Vice President of Sales

Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB), Discover Atlanta, announced that Jason Lusk would take on the role of vice president of sales. Lusk will be responsible for leading ACVB’s sales initiatives through events, lead generation and customer engagement with the goal of increasing hotel bookings across the city. 

“Jason’s extensive experience in the hospitality industry, combined with his leadership skills, will make him an invaluable asset to our destination,” said Charlene Lopez, ACVB’s executive vice president and chief sales officer. “Jason has a stellar reputation in the industry, and we are excited to see what he will accomplish in this role.” 

Lusk has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having most recently worked with Visit Denver as associate vice president of convention sales and director of sales. Prior to his time with Visit Denver, Lusk held positions as sales manager and D.C. regional sales manager with Visit Baltimore. Lusk is also affiliated with the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
