The historic Denver Union Station, located in the heart of the Mile High City, is set to complete renovations of its hotel, lounge and meeting and event space this summer. The property last completed a renovation when it reopened in 2014, adding the Crawford Hotel that connects to the iconic train station.
Now, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its 2014 revitalization, Denver Union Station is launching a remodel of its 112 Crawford Hotel guest rooms along with its Great Hall, Cooper Lounge and 8,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The guest room refresh will include new furniture, window treatments, wall coverings and art pieces. The hotel will also create a new lobby space separate from the Great Hall and will provide elevator access to the guest floors.

Denver Union Station’s Great Hall, Cooper Lounge and 8,000 square feet of meeting and event space will also be redesigned with new furniture, light fixtures and more. The transportation station and hotel will both remain open throughout these renovations, with the updated guest rooms available for booking in spring 2024. The property will also host several re-launch events in the summer of 2024.
Located just outside of the north gate of the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, the newly announced Hotel Polaris promises awe-inspiring meetings in the Rocky Mountains upon its opening in late 2024. The new 375-room hotel is located just 30 minutes from the Colorado Springs Airport and combines luxurious accommodations, state-of-the-art meeting facilities and stunning mountain views to give your next meeting or event a unique backdrop and experience.
Hotel Polaris will offer 26,000 square feet across a floor dedicated to indoor meeting space. Some of the spaces include a 12,000-square-foot ballroom that can accommodate over 1,000 attendees, a 6,000-square-foot junior ballroom, seven meeting rooms and two boardrooms. The floor also offers more than 11,000 square feet of prefunction space. The property also provides multiple unique teambuilding programs such as flight simulators, falconry and stargazing programs.

Utah
Housed in Salt Lake City’s historic Continental Bank building, the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Salt Lake City recently completed an extensive renovation of the entire hotel property, including upgrades to the guest rooms and meeting spaces. The hotel features 3,100 square feet of newly renovated, flexible meeting space spread across three meeting rooms that can seat up to 150 attendees. Highlights of the property’s event venues include the 2,000-square-foot Paris Ballroom, the 476-square-foot Tokyo Boardroom and the 684-square-foot Bombay meeting room.
Finding the Wright Venue
Nestled in the McDowell Mountains in Scottsdale, Arizona lies Taliesin West, the former winter home and studio of one of the most famous architects of the 20th century, Frank Lloyd Wright. But Taliesin West is more than just a famous landmark and symbol of Wright’s genius, it could also be the backdrop for your next meeting or event.
The property has six event spaces able to accommodate groups between 13 and 350 attendees. Some of the most notable offerings of the site include The Pergola, the newest meeting and event space at Taliesin West and an outdoor event venue able to seat up to 100 attendees. The Garden Squares is another outdoor event venue with the largest capacity of any venue on the property, able to seat 250 or accommodate up to 350 standing attendees.
There is also the Music Pavilion, an indoor tiered theater venue that is known for its acoustics and is great for performances, lectures or dining events. Outside the Music Pavilion is the Pavilion Terrace, which is a private outdoor event venue encircled by foliage and is a great way to experience the Arizona weather.
