Hyatt Hotels Corporation recently opened Hyatt Centric Zhongshan Park Shanghai, the first full-service Hyatt Centric-branded hotel in the heart of Shanghai and the fourth Hyatt Centric in Greater China. Hyatt Centric Zhongshan Park Shanghai is situated amidst the iconic Zhongshan Park and the vibrant surroundings of Yuyuan Road, putting guests in close proximity to landmarks, historical attractions, local residences, modern-day shops and restaurants.
Hyatt’s new lifestyle hotel in one of China’s largest cities combines Shanghai’s diverse cultural heritage with contemporary sophistication and aims to appeal to adventurous explorers looking to stay in the center of the city’s action. The hotel’s design blends classic Shanghai aesthetics with Western elements, drawing local inspiration from the nearby historical Zhongshan Park and classic British elegance.
Hyatt Centric Zhongshan Park Shanghai offers 262 guest rooms including 11 suites that provide a striking visual experience with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the dynamic cityscape or tranquil park. The hotel’s restaurant, SCENARIO 1555, embraces the concept of a Shanghai-style bistro and features locally sourced ingredients, classic regional dishes and modern culinary interpretations of Shanghai specialties.
Hyatt Centric Zhongshan Park Shanghai features a wide variety of event venues for meetings and events, including a ballroom measuring approximately 4,300 square feet with a capacity of up to 250 guests. The hotel’s six function rooms range from just under 500 square feet to nearly 2,600 square feet and can accommodate up to 120 people.

India
Radisson Hotel Group debuted its luxury lifestyle brand, Radisson Collection, in India with the recent opening of Radisson Collection Hotel & Spa, Riverfront Srinagar. The hotel sits on the banks of River Jhelum and derives its design inspiration from the Kashmir region’s heritage, culture and art, combining landmark architecture, elegant interiors and exceptional dining and cultural experiences.
Corners of the hotel take inspiration from Kashmir’s authentic motifs and iconic geometrical start patterned “jali” (a traditional lattice or screen found in Kashmiri architecture, renowned for its complex design and decorative appeal).
Radisson Collection Hotel & Spa, Riverfront Srinagar offers 212 guest rooms within close proximity to major tourist attractions such as Dal Lake, Mughal Gardens, Shankaracharya Temple, historical Lal Chowk and Downtown Srinagar. The hotel’s Sapphire Lounge is a modern tea and coffee lounge offering French pastries, cakes and an elegant ambiance.
The hotel also features Mumtaz, one of the largest pillarless banquet halls in the Kashmir valley, spanning nearly 5,000 square feet. The space’s walls are decorated with diverse Kashmiri art forms such as “Mehrab,” a design usually adorned with intricate geometric patterns, calligraphy, and sometimes, floral motifs.

Morocco
The first Radisson-branded hotel in Morocco, Radisson Hotel Casablanca Gauthier La Citadelle, opened its doors at the end of April. The property marks Radisson Hotel Group’s second hotel in Casablanca and ninth in Morocco.
Radisson Hotel Casablanca Gauthier La Citadelle sits in the heart of the vibrant Gauthier district, a thriving port city that fronts the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel’s location in the central hub of Gauthier puts guests near Villa des Arts and key cultural attractions like La Corniche, Parc de la Ligue Arabe, the bustling Medina and the majestic Hassan II Mosque.
The 133-room hotel features nine suites and a modern and clean white and beige aesthetic. All guest rooms are equipped with a relaxation area as well as a desk for business travelers.
At the hotel, Brause Restaurant offers wood-fire cuisine, sophisticated decor and a welcoming atmosphere with live music and city views. The hotel’s Bliss rooftop bar and restaurant features refined cocktails, bar bites and ambient tunes from its resident DJ as well as panoramic city views overlooking the Arab League Park.
Radisson Hotel Casablanca Gauthier La Citadelle offers nearly 4,850 square feet of meeting and event space including one ballroom and five meeting rooms equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual technology.

South Africa
Radisson Hotel Group introduced its renowned brand to South Africa’s “Mother City” with the rebranding of Park Inn Cape Town Foreshore to Radisson Hotel Cape Town Foreshore. The hotel, located minutes away from the International Convention Centre and the famous Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, marks the group’s third Radisson property in South Africa.
Radisson Hotel Cape Town Foreshore boasts 120 guest rooms with refreshed and modern interiors following an eight-month renovation and puts guests in Cape Town’s city center nearby world-renowned tourist attractions and the bustling business district. The hotel also features an enhanced lobby and foyer.
Radisson Hotel Cape Town Foreshore is home to South Africa’s first Filini restaurant, offering fresh and simple Italian cuisine and featuring an open-plan kitchen for dynamic and interactive dining experiences.
The hotel offers a meeting space measuring nearly 1,350 square feet and can accommodate up to 120 guests theater-style or 140 in a cocktail setting.
