Exhibitor Group President David DuBois is retiring from the company effective July 1. Dubois is an industry veteran of over 45 years, having also served as president and CEO of International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) for 11 years before signing on as president of Exhibitor Group in October 2023.
The retirement news is his second retirement announcement in a little over year, with Dubois announcing his retirement as president and CEO of IAEE in April 2023, which was effective at the end of the year.

Prior to IAEE, DuBois served as president and CEO of the Fort Worth CVB, COO for MPI, executive director for the MPI Foundation and president and CEO of PCMA. In his role at Exhibitor Group, DuBois helped the organization expand its EXHIBITORLIVE conference, introduce new education and certification programs and foster a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
"It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as the president of Exhibitor Group," DuBois said in a press release. "I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together as a team. I have been fortunate to work with some of the most talented and passionate individuals in the industry, and I am confident that Exhibitor Group will continue to thrive and innovate in the years to come."

DuBois’ has said he is now a “free agent,” with his tagline on LinkedIn now reading as “husband, father, grandfather and amateur golfer.”
