A landmark hotel located in the heart of Charleston’s historic district, The Charleston Place is undergoing a $150 million renovation that will transform all 40,000 square feet of its meeting and event space, which includes a 14,000-square-foot ballroom, a variety of meeting rooms, a conference theater and a rooftop terrace.
Slated to be completed this September, renovations will also introduce two 1,350-square-foot meeting rooms, a second set of restrooms and extended prefunction space. The existing meeting and event spaces will be receiving upgrades that include new paint, lighting, furniture, wall treatments, carpet and drapery.
Hilton opened its newest dual-brand hotel, The Ellie Beach Resort Myrtle Beach, Tapestry Collection by Hilton and DoubleTree Resort by Hilton, on Springmaid Beach in Myrtle Beach. The oceanfront resort offers a variety of amenities including two onsite restaurants, six pools, a mini-golf course, sports courts and a 24-hour fitness center.
The hotel also offers multiple indoor and outdoor event venues, including two 8,500-square-foot ballrooms, an 8,500-square-foot exhibit hall, 35,000 square feet of function space and 100,000 square feet of outdoor lawn and event space. The hotel can accommodate events up to 650 attendees.

Tennessee
Originally constructed as a bank in 1927, the Courtyard Marriott Nashville Downtown completed renovations to its guest rooms, corridors and fitness center. Located in Printer’s Alley in Nashville, the hotel’s 192 guest rooms now feature new carpeting, wall vinyl, paint, furniture, artwork and draperies.
The hotel is close to many popular venues in Nashville, including the Ryman Auditorium, Bridgestone Arena, the Country Music Hall of Fame, Centennial Park and Nissan Stadium.
Courtyard Marriott Nashville Downtown also features a combined 3,800 square feet of meeting space, including the 1,560-square-foot Exchange Room, able to accommodate up to 93 attendees, and the 700-square-foot Cashier room, able to accommodate up to 50 attendees.
Texas
Situated near the Port of Corpus in Corpus Christi, the newly rebranded Holiday Inn Corpus Christi Airport & Conference Center completed a renovation. Known by many in the area as the Corpus Christi Atrium Hotel, the property has reclaimed its original Holiday Inn branding and is now managed by Remington Hospitality.
The hotel offers 6,800 square feet of meeting and event space, 236 guest rooms and an onsite bar and restaurant. Meeting spaces include the Lonestar Ballroom, able to accommodate up to 600 attendees, and the Alamo, Rio Grande and Big Bend rooms, each able to accommodate up to 50 attendees. The hotel also features a pool, fitness center and offsite 18-hole golf course with views of the Gulf of Mexico.

An Oceanfront View
The Amrit Ocean Resort is a newly opened beachfront wellness resort located on Palm Beach County’s Singer Island in Florida. Spanning seven beachfront acres along the Atlantic Ocean and surrounded by sand dunes and wildlife preservation areas, this 155-room property features over 103,000 square feet of wellness and spa facilities across four floors. The resort is also located close to Palm Beach International Airport, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and West Palm Beach Brightline station.
Guests can choose from a variety of spa and wellness treatments, including ashiatsu and shiatsu massages, reiki experiences, reflexology, manual lymphatic drainage, cranial sacral therapy, myofascial release, facials, flotation therapy, acupuncture, sound wave therapy and more. The Amrit Ocean Resort features a fitness center with a 3,500-square-foot cardio studio and six breakout studios for group fitness and wellness classes such as yoga, meditation, mat Pilates and indoor cycling.
The resort also features 10,000 square feet of indoor meeting space and nearly three and a half acres of oceanfront outdoor space. The indoor event spaces include the 4,300-square-foot Hibiscus Ballroom able to accommodate up to 300 attendees; the 860-square-foot Lotus room able to accommodate up to 30 attendees; and the 800-square-foot Jasmine room able to accommodate up to 90 attendees.
