Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Hires Wellbeing Experience Manager for Groups

Yagmur Quillin, Wellbeing Experience Manager, Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay

Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina, a waterfront resort located on 342 acres of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, hired Yagmur Quillin as its new wellbeing experience manager for groups.

In her new role, Quillin has already worked on curating a menu of new experiences for groups featuring a variety of outdoor recreation activities, culinary and cocktail classes, give-back experiences and on-the-water excursions to help groups take advantage of the resort and what Chesapeake Bay offers as a destination.

“I am thrilled to join the incredible team at Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay,” Quillin said in a press release. “In my new role, I look forward to creating unforgettable experiences for groups that are good for the mind, body and soul. I am excited to debut the new menu of teambuilding activities and look forward to continuing to build the range of experiences focused on overall well-being.”

The resort’s new group activity menu features a variety of new teambuilding activities that give back to the local Cambridge, Maryland community. Groups can take part in the “Wagging Tails & Warming Hearts” activity where they will make soft, no-sew blankets to keep shelter pets warm and comfortable. The group then delivers the blankets to the Baywater Animal Rescue, the Eastern Shore’s leading no-kill animal welfare organization, and takes part in enrichment activities and walks with the animals.

Other activities include a “build-a-library” option, which has groups fill the library’s shelves with books and messages of encouragement, hope and empowerment before delivering the library to a local school or youth organization. Additionally, the “Helping Hands” activities allow groups to assemble thoughtfully curated packages, whether its filling backpacks with school supplies for local students or assembling care packages with comfort items and non-perishable food items to donate to military personnel.
