Visit Anaheim Promotes Christina Dawson and Ronnie Collins to C-Suite

Visit Anaheim, the official sales and marketing organization for Anaheim, California, recently announced that it had promoted two individuals to its c-suite of executives. Christina Dawson will now serve as chief operating officer (COO) and Ronnie Collins as chief sales officer, both effective September 10.  

Dawson has been part of Visit Anaheim for 24 years, becoming a cornerstone of the organization’s growth during her tenure. In her new role, she will lead the day-to-day operations of Visit Anaheim, focusing on partnerships and business intelligence.  

“Christina’s dedication and contributions to Visit Anaheim have been invaluable, especially last year when she stepped up as interim CEO,” said Visit Anaheim’s President and CEO Mike Waterman in a press release. “Her operational expertise and her ability to lead with both strategic vision and deep understanding of our mission make her very deserving of this title.”

Collins is a relatively new addition to the organization, having served only 18 months as a sales leader for the organization. As the new chief sales officer, Collins will be responsible for further elevating Visit Anaheim’s sales operations including overseeing the organization’s international tourism sales strategy.  

“Ronnie has made a tremendous impact since joining the Visit Anaheim team,” said Waterman. “His dynamic energy, passion for sales and his ability to drive results have been remarkable. We’re excited to see how Ronnie will continue to push the boundaries and lead our sales initiatives to new heights.”
