Visit Atlantic City CEO to Resign at End of 2024

Visit Atlantic City President & CEO Larry Sieg announced he will retire from the DMO at the end of 2024, ushering in a replacement with a long history representing the South Jersey coastal gaming destination.

Sieg will be succeeded by Gary Musich, who is currently vice president of sales for Visit Atlantic City. Musich is a 25-year hospitality industry sales veteran with a long history of driving business growth and fostering relationships in the destination.

"I am incredibly proud of the work we’ve accomplished during my time here at Visit Atlantic City," Sieg said in statement announcing his retirement. "The team’s resilience and dedication have been instrumental in helping us meet the challenges of a rapidly changing tourism landscape. I’m confident that Gary is the right person to take the reins and lead this organization to even greater heights.”

According to Visit Atlantic City, Musich’s appointment represents the DMO’s “commitment to continuity and growth, building on the strong foundation established by Sieg.”

"Atlantic City has endless potential, and I look forward to working with our partners to promote this incredible destination to visitors from across the globe. We will remain focused on expanding our reach, innovating our offerings and ensuring that Atlantic City continues to thrive as a top-tier destination."

Highlights from Sieg’s years leading the bureau include a rebranding of the organization, integrating leisure marketing with the CRDA (Casino Reinvestment Development Authority) and contributing to increased visitor numbers and enhanced experiences for travelers, according to Visit Atlantic City.

The DMO said the promotion of Musich will mark a new chapter for Visit Atlantic City, with a focus on innovation, strategic partnerships and continuing to attract major events to the city.
