SoolNua, the specialist business events advisory founded by renowned industry veterans Patrick Delaney and Pádraic Gilligan in 2014, is entering a new era of leadership under Aoife McCrum and Gráinne Ní Ghiollagáin, who have taken over as joint owners and managing partners.
SoolNua, meaning "new eye," offers ideas and solutions to clients around the world, including destinations, hotels, venues, MICE agencies and associations seeking advice and growth. Known for their out-of-the-box thinking, creative approach and in-depth industry insights, the SoolNua team provides expert guidance in strategy, marketing and training.
“We are committed to upholding that legacy while bringing our own energy and vision to the future of SoolNua,” McCrum and Ní Ghiollagáin said in an email introducing themselves as the company’s new leaders. “We’ve been privileged to work alongside Patrick and Pádraic for years, learning from the very best, and we’re delighted that they will continue to be involved—Patrick in an advisory capacity and Pádraic as a key part of the operational team for the coming years. Their guidance and mentorship will be invaluable as we shape the next evolution of SoolNua.”

McCrum, a graduate in advertising and marketing, has been with SoolNua since its inception and has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s brand and reputation. Ní Ghiollagáin, who joined SoolNua five years ago, qualified as a pharmacist before spending significant time gaining industry knowledge and experience on both the supply and demand sides of the industry.
