Destinations International (DI) is offering a new business intelligence certificate program to help destination professionals develop practical, skill-based trainings to excel in business events.
The program is designed to help entry- to mid-level professionals in destination sales, services and marketing positions apply business intelligence to real-world scenarios, including the ability to balance emotional intelligence with business acumen. Each course consists of 6-8 hours of content and features video lessons from industry experts, knowledge-check quizzes and a final assessment.
The certificate program is made up of three courses, including:
1. Sales: Where destination professionals can learn how to leverage resources to enhance prospecting, lead generation and deal closure.
2. Services: Where professionals can develop expertise in service delivery, including event planning logistics, attendance-driving strategies and risk mitigation.
3. Marketing and Communications: Which focuses on marketing strategies for destination branding, digital outreach and media engagement.
The program is fully online and self-paced, with participants able to complete the coursework at any time within a 90-day window. The program is available to both members and non-members of Destinations International, with individual course and bundle pricings available.
