Meetings Have Gone to the Dogs at Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel

Forget about the afternoon breakout. We‘re busy petting puppies here!

The Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel unveiled a new program for meetings that, as the property states, can make any event more “pawsitive.” And who wouldn’t want more of that? The Puppy Meeting Package brings 30 minutes of puppy playtime for groups of 25 or more attendees.

The Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel launched the break package to give groups a fun option to reduce stress and elevate moods with the goal of higher productivity, which have all been proven benefits of interacting with pets.

A portion of the proceeds from the package are donated to the animal rescue organization of the meeting planner’s choice.

We’ve seen this trend of having areas to play with puppies at a variety of meetings and events, and especially on exhibit floors. Some of our staff members even report that the lines can be prohibitively long, so the popularity is definitely there.

And that’s nothing to bark at.

Renaissance Reno Downtown’s Offerings

The 214-room Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel, which has more than 13,000 square feet of meeting space, is already a pet-friendly property.

Located on the Truckee River Riverwalk, the Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel can accommodate groups of up to 650 across eight event rooms.
