The planned Dallas Convention Center hotel will feature at least four dining options, including a Bob’s Steak & Chop House, the Dallas Morning News reported.
Omni Hotels will operate the 1,000-room, city-owned hotel when it opens in 2012. In addition to the steakhouse, the hotel is expected to have a casual restaurant, a Morsel’s coffee shop and a snack shop near the pool area.
Groundbreaking for the boomerang-shaped hotel is expected by mid-September. The developer plans to add a mixed-used development on the site of the new convention center that would offer additional dining options and some retail shops.
