Tornado damage sustained by the Minneapolis Convention Center last month will cost between $350,000 and $500,000 to repair, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal reported.
The city expects the building to be repaired by Sept. 7.
A 60-foot-by-300-foot section of the roof to Exhibit Hall B sustained damage, allowing water to enter the building. A few events scheduled for the space will be moved to other comparable sections within the convention center. Otherwise, the facility will continue to operate as usual.
