The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte is set to open Oct. 1, becoming the first LEED-built hotel for Ritz-Carlton and the first for Greater Charlotte.
The 146-room hotel features a 13,000-square-foot Wellness Center and 12,000 square-feet of meeting space. The hotel is located in the city’s thriving Uptown area.
Eco-friendly components of the property include a green roof vegetated with 18,000 plants that insulate the building, slow rain runoff and cool the air through evaporation of water from leaves. The hotel also includes a bike valet with 150 bicycle parking spaces and complimentary bikes for guests to use during their stay.
