SAN DIEGO
Westin Gaslamp Quarter, San Diego has completed a multi-phase, property-wide transformation. All 450 guestrooms were updated while the hotel’s 35,000 square feet of meeting space was also redone. In addition, the hotel updated its arrival experience, created a modern lobby, and the new Pinzimini restaurant and bar.
The property is said to be a prototype for other Westin renovations going forward, according to Keri Robinson, general manager.
“We are thrilled to be among the first hotels in the nation to debut the Westin brand’s new, modern look. Robinson said. “Whether guests are here for business or leisure travel, there’s something new and exciting for each of our guests to experience.”
Floor-to-ceiling enhancements of all meeting and event space included the addition of the 5,940-square-foot San Diego Ballroom and adjoining 5,752-square-foot outdoor Garden Terrace.
