DANVERS, Mass.
The CoCo Key Hotel & Water Resort Boston-North Shore, located in Danvers, Mass., has celebrated the beginning of a renovation that will cost over $10 million. Following the upgrade this fall, the property will be re-branded a DoubleTree by Hilton.
Improvements to the hotel include upgrades to the meeting space, the addition of new technological amenities and an executive lounge. Coco Key offers 365 rooms and more than 30,000 square feet of meeting space.
“Our goal is for The DoubleTree Boston North Shore to become the ‘guest house’ of the community, a place where everyone will be welcome,” said Eric Marx, senior vice president of the hotel’s owner and developer Lightstone Group. “Ownership intends to invest time, effort and capital into this hotel which will allow it to return to being the premier business and event space in North Shore Boston, a place for everyone to come together, to conduct business, socialize and to play.”
