HOLLYWOOD and LAS VEGAS
Associated Luxury Hotels International has expanded its portfolio in the West with the addition of the new Loews Hollywood Hotel in Hollywood, Calif., and the Ravella at Lake Las Vegas in Henderson, Nev. The hotels will now receive dedicated Global Sales Organization services and support by ALHI and its sales force throughout North America.
The Loews Hollywood Hotel was previously the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel before it was acquired by Loews in June. The 20-story hotel, which will undergo a $26 million renovation in 2013, features 632 guest rooms and suites and over 150,000 square feet of meeting space. The Loews Hollywood Hotel is part of the Hollywood & Highland Center, giving guests direct access to the 460,000-square-foot center containing over 80 shops, 26 restaurants and eateries, two nightclubs, seven movie screens, eight bars, 12 bowling lanes, the newly renamed Dolby Theatre, which is where the Academy Awards are held and also features IRIS, Cirque du Soleil’s newest production. Additionally, Wolfgang Puck Catering will continue to partner with Loews in the operation and catering of the 25,000-square-foot ballroom located in the Hollywood & Highland Center complex.
The Ravella at Lake Las Vegas is a Mediterranean-style lakeside retreat. Not far from the Las Vegas Strip and Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport, the resort includes 349 guest rooms and suites, and 39,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. The resort, which was formerly, also features the elegant 30,000-square-foot Spa at Ravella, a lagoon with a white-sand beach, and a resort-sized pool with cabanas. Paddleboats, kayaking, canoeing, yacht tours, hiking, and biking are other recreational options, as are the nearby casinos and world-class golf.
Ravella at Lake Las Vegas, a Dolce Hotel & Resort, was previously the Ritz-Carlton on Lake Las Vegas before its rebranding and opening in 2011.
