MILWAUKEE, Wisc.
The Wisconsin Center District, owner and operator of the Frontier Airlines Center, is looking for a new naming-rights partner, according to the Milwaukee-Wisconsin Journal Sentinel.
Franklyn Gimbel, chairman of the district's board of directors, has said Frontier Airlines is unlikely to sign a new naming-rights agreement when its contract ends next July.
The airline pays $500,000 a year to the district for the naming rights, but Gimbel disclosed that the airline—which has reduced its schedule in Milwaukee—has been paying on a month-to-month basis of late.
He declined to name possible partners but said firms that do business in Milwaukee have expressed interest.
