W Hotels has announced that 11 of its 28 North American properties are undergoing a $100 million renovation, the biggest overhaul in the nearly 15-year history of the brand. Much of the change is focused on public spaces.
Three of its hotels in the United States will be adding Trace, a farm-to-table restaurant. Atlanta and Dallas Ws will get Cook Hall, a gastropub.
The W Seattle has new interiors that reference the history of aeronautics in the Northwest.
And the bar and lobby areas, called Living Rooms, will hold more events to appeal to nearby residents, like interactive exhibitions by local photographers.]
