The Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort has wrapped up the final details of a $7.5 million improvement project for its Coral Ballroom.
Renovations included the replacement of carpeting, wall coverings and chandeliers. The lighting is also one of the key aspects of the new look, which includes custom chandeliers created with the appearance of Hawaiian leis.
In addition to the ballroom and its pre-function areas, Hilton made upgrades to the public restrooms neighboring the ballroom, including brand-new fixtures, lighting and decorative tile.
Work began on the 27,000-square-foot ballroom on July 30, and the contractor was Swinerton Builders, based in California with offices in Honolulu.
