NIAGARA FALLS, Ont.
After undergoing an extensive $15 million upgrade, the Marriott Gateway on the Falls is looking sharper than ever.
The 32-story hotel’s lobby has been transformed and features the new Marriott Great Room, offering a place to socialize, relax, conduct business, have a light meal or enjoy a drink. The upgraded business centre provides all the amenities for today’s business traveler and an all-new fitness facility is setting new standards for ensuring a healthy diversion for hotel guests.
The Gateway, the first high-rise hotel built in the Fallsview District, is at the “business end of the Falls”, and has truly captured the idea of a home away from home, and an office away from the office.
The Marriott Gateway on the Falls is the largest Marriott convention facility in Canada — and is the closest hotel to the new Scotiabank Niagara Convention Centre — offering all the amenities and services to suit the business traveler’s needs. Featuring 405 first-class hotel rooms, including 260 overlooking the majestic Niagara Falls, it is also within a short distance of the amenities that make Niagara Falls famous: the Falls, two casinos, the Niagara Parks, fantastic food and wine and various other attractions.
On September 14th, The Marriott Gateway on the Falls hosted Meeting Planners from the United States and Canada for its Grand Opening Celebration, where the guests were invited to come and test the many new amenities of the property.
Located in the heart of the vibrant Niagara Falls Fallsview district, the Marriott Gateway on the Falls is the largest Marriott conference facility in Canada. The closest hotel to the Scotiabank Convention Centre, the Marriott Gateway features more than 40,000 square feet of meeting space with the latest in multi-media technology, a full-service business centre, 405 guest suites — including lofts with 19-foot floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the majestic Niagara Falls — an open concept lounge, falls-view dining and a concierge lounge. The Great Room at the Marriott Gateway is part of a $15-million improvement that includes a new fitness facility, refreshed façade and updated meeting rooms.
