NASHVILLE -- The $75 million expansion project continues at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and the property has begun accepting bookings for the event spaces that are scheduled to open in fall 2013.
“We are extremely excited about our new Event Hall space and the amazing view of the Nashville skyline it will offer,” says Jo Ellen Drennon McDowell, senior director of event management at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, “It will be the most unique event space in the city — the atmosphere created by its size and the panorama of downtown will be unmatched. And, we are very energized about the new CMA Theater and its linking space. We think it will quickly become one of Nashville’s premier live performance spaces, and intimate enough to maintain a personal ambience. The excitement and interest is really starting to build.”
The expansion will double the size of the venue, adding a 10,000-square-foot glass-enclosed event hall and the 6,000-square-foot outdoor Carlton Terrace with views of downtown Nashville. The new 800-seat CMA Theater with 2,000 square feet of adjoining pre-function space will also be unveiled.
