W Los Angeles - Westwood, Southern California's iconic urban lifestyle hotel, has announced the appointment of Mark Eberwein as the new General Manager. Eberwein brings more than 20 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry.

Prior to joining W Los Angeles - Westwood, Eberwein was W San Francisco's Director of Operations. While there, Eberwein gained extensive experience managing a Starwood hotel property. Mark was instrumental in leading Green Initiatives at the recently certified Silver LEED-EB property.
Earlier in his career, Eberwein held the title of Director of Food and Beverage, and Certified Sommelier at The St. Regis Deer Valley in Park City, Utah. Eberwein was recognized with the prestigious honor of being named one of Food & Wine Magazine's "Top Sommeliers of 2011." He was among seven sommeliers around the country to receive this award.
Eberwein launched his hospitality career over 20 years ago when he became the Sommelier of Rancho Bernardo Inn's El Bizcocho Restaurant, one of San Diego's top fine dining establishments, overseeing a wine list of nearly 2,000 selections.
