Located on the pristine shore of Ka'anapali Beach, Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa recently completed more than $12 million in resort-wide updates.
From “fire knife dancers” to a bar hidden by two dazzling waterfalls, Hyatt Regency Maui continues to offer guests memorable experiences while providing authentic Hawaiian hospitality. Highlights from Hyatt Regency Maui's renovations include:
Drums of the Pacific Luau and Sunset Terrace
One of the island's most authentic Polynesian luaus, Drums of the Pacific Luau has undergone several updates. The show now features three fire knife dancers - the most of any luau on Maui, a Hawaiian fashion show and an interactive hula lesson for guests.
Sunset Terrace, the luau's venue, has resurfaced floors, a redesigned elevated VIP group area, and new tables and chairs. The terrace is now also completely ADA compliant.
Guests will continue to enjoy the traditional imu ceremony, live band and award-winning Tahiti performers, as well as a buffet of Hawaiian favorites and open bar. These enhancements will affirm the Drums of the Pacific Luau's position as the most exciting luau on Maui.
Suites and Deluxe Suites Redesign
The $5 million redesign and renovation of 21 Ocean Suites and seven Deluxe Ocean Suites includes new hardwood flooring throughout, newly designed and enlarged bathrooms, and refreshed wall coverings. All suites received new contemporary furniture, and décor accents that reflect the natural beauty and tranquility of the Hawaiian Islands.
Grotto Bar
Updates to the resort's Grotto Bar, include new flat screen TVs with an updated sound system, new seating and bar, and Maui-inspired art for this bar hidden between the waterfalls of the resort's half-acre pool.
Swan Court and Son'z
One million dollars went into new wood flooring, new buffet area, chandeliers, wall images, carpeting, ergonomically designed tables and chairs, and a new seating area throughout Swan Court and Son'z. Son'z also announces a refreshed menu, featuring a variety of new additions.
