Hilton Hotels & Resorts reflagged and reopened the former Delta Meadowvale Hotel and Conference Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, as the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale.
The revamped hotel was recently acquired by a private Canadian real estate investment group with the sale brokered by the Toronto office of CBRE Limited. The hotel will be managed by Hilton.
Located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada's sixth-largest city, the property will be renamed as Hilton Mississauga-Meadowvale. Nestled on 15 acres landscaped parkland of the Meadowvale Business Park, the hotel is only 15 minutes from Toronto's Pearson International Airport.
Situated close to major highways, Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale is also just 25 miles from downtown Toronto and six miles from Toronto Premium Outlets, the Greater Toronto Area's newest retail development.
The hotel offers 374 recently renovated guest rooms in two towers and showcases contemporary design that boasts over 40,000 square feet of meeting and banquet facilities consisting of two ballrooms, 40 meeting rooms and a dedicated foyer space. Well-equipped to handle a multitude of events ranging from small to mid-to-large scale, the property hosts the largest convention center in Mississauga.
The recently renovated quest Restaurant and Bar serves global cuisine, and Chop Steakhouse (set to open later this summer) offer another full-fledged dining option. Arabica, situated on the lobby level, provides guests with a bistro-style "grab and go" coffee bar.
Recreational amenities include the three-story, 165 foot "Big Blue," the longest indoor waterslide in the Greater Toronto Area, a seasonal outdoor saltwater pool with a patio area used for outdoor events and a putting green.
