MEMPHIS, Tenn.
The 220-suite Embassy Suites hotel in Memphis, Tenn., has officially started a $7 million renovation, expected to be complete in the second quarter of 2015 with a brand-new lobby, atrium, guest rooms and additional board room. The hotel’s on-site dining spot, Frank Grisanti's Restaurant, will also undergo a major upgrade.
Currently the entire original lobby atrium is being transformed into more of a social lobby where guests will feel comfortable spending time outside their rooms. The atrium refresh will reflect Embassy Suites' vision of modern, interactive living spaces, which will be unique to the Memphis marketplace. Guest rooms will also be addressed in this effort. The hotel remains open to guests.
Located in the Poplar/Germantown area, Embassy Suites Memphis is owned by a partnership led by Lodging Capital Partners, LLC based in Chicago and managed by Hilton Worldwide.
Located at 1022 South Shady Grove Road, the hotel is 12 miles from the Memphis International Airport and provides complimentary airport transportation within a three mile radius of the hotel. The hotel currently features 3,000 square feet of meeting space, and will be adding an additional small boardroom with the renovation.
