BALTIMORE
Laurus Corporation announced the completion of a $15 million property-wide renovation of the 393-room Hunt Valley Inn in Baltimore, Md., that included its convention hall and common spaces.
The top-to-bottom remodel also included updates for the hotel’s guest rooms, common amenities, and the reinstatement of the hotel's haute cuisine, distinguished service and timeless elegance. The hotel, now joined with the upscale Wyndham Grand Collection, aims to be a premier destination for conferences and meeting groups, business travelers and those seeking unforgettable experiences.
The hotel's newly re-designed Cinnamon Tree restaurant offers destination dining in a stylish and contemporary setting with Maryland culinary staples including a Crab Cake Sandwich on a Brioche Bun and Maryland Surf & Turf with Filet Mignon. The main dining room design combines rustic and contemporary with touches that include glass link chandeliers, tables of dark wood, tufted banquettes and elegant dining chairs.
Custom millwork has also been added to the walls, hinting at Baltimore's equestrian heritage.
The all-encompassing hotel repositioning also featured an overhaul of the property's meeting and event spaces, including the 33,000 square-foot convention hall, the addition of an outdoor event lawn and new indoor and outdoor pre-function spaces.
The Hunt Valley Inn's 393 guest rooms were completely redesigned and the property now offers complimentary Wi-Fi and parking, all in a verdant campus setting.
Other hotel amenities include the Polo Lounge & Bar, Cafe 245, a swim-through indoor/outdoor heated pool, three tennis courts and a modern fitness center.
Hunt Valley Inn sits on 18 landscaped acres and is situated in one of the most affluent areas of Baltimore near Washington, D.C. and near Baltimore's business hubs with convenient access to the city's downtown attractions, leisure venues and Baltimore-Washington International Airport.
