ORLANDO
Continuing the trend of epic growth across the destination, Universal Orlando Resort has completed its historic meeting space expansion at Loews Royal Pacific Resort.
Already the largest meetings hotel at Universal Orlando, Loews Royal Pacific Resort has expanded its meeting and event space from 85,000 square feet to 132,000 square feet.
The hotel officially welcomed HEINEKEN USA as the first group to utilize the expanded meeting area. The brewing company chose the South Pacific-inspired hotel for its annual employee meeting, which included more than 500 attendees.
The company returned to Universal Orlando for its annual meeting, after being impressed by the hotel’s meeting space and service during a previous event.
“The HEINEKEN USA team was honored to be the first to utilize this impressive new space,” said Dana Adelman, corporate communications manager with HEINEKEN USA. “Not only is it top-notch, it also enabled us to comfortably host our main event and ancillary activities all under one roof.”
Looking beyond this historic upgrade, in summer 2016, Universal Orlando will debut its fifth on-site hotel—Loews Sapphire Falls Resort. Featuring more than 115,000 square feet of customizable meeting space, the Caribbean-themed hotel will be connected to Loews Royal Pacific Resort. Together, the two resorts will offer 247,000 square feet of combined meeting space and 2,000 rooms.
Once complete, the Loews Meeting Complex at Universal Orlando Resort will be an ideal venue for large associations, conventions, trade shows and corporate meetings—right in one destination, offering a variety of themed venues, theme parks and entertainment.
