CLEARWATER BEACH, Fla.
Opal Sands Resort, the newest property under Ocean Properties Ltd. & Affiliates, is set to open by the end of February 2016 in Clearwater Beach, Fla.
Inspired by the area’s powdery white sands and lively atmosphere, the resort brings upscale accommodations with a contemporary feel to Florida's Gulf Coast. The curvature of the property, designed by Design Duncan Miller Ullmann, gives every room a clear view of the sunsets.
"It's an exciting time in the resort's progress—getting to visualize the full potential of its architectural beauty and watching it assume its place on Clearwater Beach," said Andy Berger, vice president of operations for Ocean Properties Ltd. "We're looking forward to the completion of the interior space, along with the creation and perfection of the [resort’s] service, programming and experiences.”
All 230 guest rooms and suites offer oceanfront views, private balconies and modern amenities. The property's interior includes chic décor, stylized wood accents, and subtle touches of turquoise and blue.
Opal Sands Resort will offer 25,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, and 5,500 square feet of event lawn for elegant outdoor affairs with Gulf Coast views.
