Groups can now enjoy Kansas City from new heights inside Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center's event space, Skies, which recently opened on the 42nd floor adjacent to the Sheraton Club Lounge. Up to 75 guests can take in scenic views of the Kansas City skyline in the city’s cultural arts district.
“After countless requests from groups to use our indoor rooftop area, we’re excited to add Skies to our diverse collection of meeting spaces at Crown Center,” said Jim Snow, general manager, Sheraton Kansas City Hotel and The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center. “The stunning views of the city during the day or evening will make this event space a new favorite.”
The 2,500-square-foot space is available for cocktail receptions, small gatherings or social events. The space can be filled with cocktail and highboy tables, and there are two alcoves each fit for a banquet table and chairs (the north alcove can also fit a bar, if your group desires).
The Sheraton Kansas City Hotel and The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center offer large flexible meeting spaces and the fast hotel Internet at 1G bandwidth. The hotels house 1,454 guest rooms, 52 meeting rooms, 30 parlors, two ballrooms that seat up to 2,000 people each, 19 breakout rooms, the 45,500 square-foot Crown Center Exhibit Hall and a total of 150,000 square feet of meeting space.
