NAPLES, Fla.
The Hyatt House Naples/Fifth Avenue opened for business on March 15—the first waterfront resort to arrive on the Naples, Fla., scene in more than eight years, according to a release.
The 183-room, extended-stay hotel is located along the Gordon River, less than 33 miles from the Southwest Florida International Airport, and near Everglades National Park.
Some highlights of the property include:
- 183 rooms and suites with fully equipped kitchens (where applicable).
- 3,160 square feet of function space for special events including business meetings and weddings. The hotel staff can coordinate unique breakout activities.
- A fresh food market, complimentary grocery service and full-service restaurant.
- Specialized culinary programming includes take-and-go gourmet picnics, catch-and-cook fishing experiences and create your own Moscow Mule options.
- 24/7 fitness studio with a cardio theatre and sweeping views of the surrounding marina; outdoor grilling area; and resort-style, zero-depth entry pool with a hot tub.
- A selection of dock slips for boaters, a marina concierge will be available for guests to rent boats, kayaks, paddle boards and arrange other water-based adventures.
In addition, the Hyatt House Naples/Fifth Avenue recently announced that Jay Slaboch was named general manager of the property. He previously opened and was general manager of the Hyatt Place Minneapolis Downtown for three years and the Hyatt Place Hoffman Estates for five years.
