GLENVIEW, Ill.
Alliance Hospitality acquired the Wyndham Glenview Suites Chicago North, located in Glenview, Ill. Rolf Tweeten, chairman of the board for Alliance Hospitality, made the announcement.
The property will undergo a multimillion-dollar renovation as it is converted to the Delta by Marriott brand. The hotel will begin operations under the new Delta flag starting in September.
“The Delta by Marriott brand continues to win fans and a key part of Alliance Hospitality’s strategic growth plan is to capitalize on this,” said Tweeten. “We will actively pursue Delta opportunities; identifying properties that are suitable for conversion in targeted markets across the country.”
Currently a 253-room all-suite hotel, the property also includes 7,378 square feet of meeting space, an indoor pool and a fitness center. It provides easy access to Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
Once converted, the Delta will feature a Starbucks cafe, restaurants and a new exercise facility.
