BROOKLYN, N.Y.
Dazzler Brooklyn Hotel, the newest hotel in Downtown Brooklyn, has unveiled the latest addition to the design-focused 174-room property with the Dazzler Ballroom.
The hotel opened in August 2015 as a sophisticated new option for accommodations on Flatbush Avenue Extension. Dazzler Ballroom is a social event, meeting and wedding space located in a prime location for guests to become immersed in the authenticity of Brooklyn’s bustling downtown area.
The hotel is steps away from some of the best local restaurants, shops and landmarks including the Manhattan Bridge, Brooklyn Museum and Barclays Center. Dazzler Ballroom already has welcomed several social events, including a wedding and a bar mitzvah.
The new subterranean Dazzler Ballroom offers a stylish aesthetic with an open layout of 3,771 square feet, and an additional 667 square feet of adjacent pre-function space. Mirrored wall panels create subdued reflective surfaces accenting the soft earth-toned color palette of the room.
One of the most prominent design features is the lighting, which carries the hotel’s chic design aesthetic to the meeting space. Four large, luminescent ceiling fixtures add drama and a touch of elegance to the ballroom.
Dazzler Ballroom can hold up to 250 guests for cocktail receptions and banquets, and offers various setups for smaller events and meetings. A dedicated team of meeting specialists partner with clients to transform Dazzler Ballroom to fit the specific needs of each event – from choosing just the right colorful linens for a Sweet 16 to creating the most efficient set-up for a meeting.
The events team partners with several locally sourced food purveyors to offer guests a variety of food and beverage options, including a full kosher menu, all incorporating the taste and local flavor of the neighborhood. The latest equipment and high-tech communications are available to support all A/V requirements.
Dazzler Brooklyn Hotel is part of Dazzler Hotels, the upscale collection of properties by Argentinean brand Fën Hotels, and is the first Dazzler to open in the U.S. The creative direction and design was led by Brooklyn-based clo-th Interiors with a design scheme echoing its urban locale, mixing Manhattan glamour with industrial Brooklyn influence. The chic design continues in each of the 174 guest accommodations.
Guests have the option to book one of the 154 Classic Rooms (averaging 250 square feet), 14 Junior Suites (300 square feet) or six Executive Suites (450 square feet) featuring an entry foyer, living area and sofa sleeper.
Among the hotel various amenities are luxurious brands for in-room amenities including Frette bed linens and a selection of C.O. Bigelow Apothecaries bath products. Each room includes overhead rain showerheads, marble bathroom sink area, Internet-ready smart televisions, self-serve mini bar and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Complimentary breakfast and a 24-hour Fitness Center are other bonuses.
