RIVIERA BEACH, Fla.
The AAA Four Diamond, 139-room Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa completed a $6.8 million renovation that infused the property with a relaxed coastal style. The new design attempts to blur the lines between being inside and outside.
Dominating the lobby is the oval-shaped great room, featuring soaring wood-paneled columns, conversational groupings of curved-back sofas, lounge chairs and glass-topped tables. Furnishings are light and airy, with upholstery in a textured, natural shade that evokes the Florida sand.
Floor-to-ceiling windows in the great room, bar and lounge flood the area in natural light by day. At the entrance to the bar and lounge is a new communal high-top table for up to 14 guests.
The resort's 3,600 square feet of event space has also been refreshed with new carpeting and lighting.
