Victor Calzada

Pendry San Diego appointed Victor Calzada to director of food & beverage in preparation for the opening of the hotel in late 2016.

In this role, Calzada will managing the hotel’s food & beverage portfolio and concepts. He will work with Pendry San Diego’s partners to bring forth food & beverage experiences for hotel guests and locals alike. He joins the San Diego team from Dallas where he was the director of food & beverage at the Joule Hotel and the Stoneleigh Hotel and Spa.

Calzada will join Pendry San Diego’s General Manager Michael O’Donohue and Director of Sales and Marketing Bob Frear in overseeing the development and launch of the 317-room property in the city’s Gaslamp Quarter. The hotel, the first for the new luxury brand from Montage Hotels & Resorts, will offer 35,000 square feet of meeting space.
